You will join a small but impactful team with the goal to help Sinch become even more efficient by building internal platforms, services and tools used by Sinch. The essence of the role
In the OSS team, our main mission is to build internal platforms, services and tools used by other departments in their day-to-day work, such as support and service operations - which means that our job has a direct effect on the customer experience. Many times, this means full-stack web services, other times anything from small scripts to complex backend services. Most of our code is PHP but we also use Python and Go for some of our backend services.
You will participate in workshops to brainstorm ideas to optimise, plan and drive important projects and make sure everything is running smoothly. Your objective is to automate with quality to help us become even more efficient.

In order to contribute to this role you have experience with:
- Scripting/Development with PHP amp; MySQL or similar stack, such as Python
- HTML/CSS Development
- Linux and CLI
- You communicate well in Swedish or English
It’s a big plus!
If you have experience working with:
- Javascript frameworks (such as Vue.js)
- Writing test cases in PHPUnit and Cypress
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Gitlab/CI
- Domain knowledge of messaging from a technical role, such as Support, ServiceOps, Infra or similar.
