AV Support Technician

• Design, install and operate multimedia display equipment in settings such as conference and meeting rooms;
• Designing and installing permanent audio-visual systems;
• Technical conference and meeting support;
• Installation and support for sound systems, Video conferencing, screens, video and stand still cameras, remote controls;
• Maintaining and performing minor repairs on mechanical components of audio-visual equipment;
• Market studies and evaluation of audio-visual equipment;
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment.

Requirements

• Associated degree from a technical college with a focus on audio visual equipment or equivalent experience;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of the audio-visual technology that is currently available and a good working knowledge of the required maintenance of the equipment;
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures;
• Certifications in the field is desirable
• Good knowledge in videoconference systems;
• Good knowledge, understanding and experience of ITIL with a minimum of foundation ITIL certification.
• Good knowledge of Audio visual equipment;
