The essence of the roleThe Junior IT Support Technician provides first line, on-site, end user support as a part of Sinch’s Global IT support team. Curiosity, user friendliness and willingness to learn is essential. We think that you love IT and problem solving or wants to develop your skills in those areas. The role requires you to have the ability to work independently and take full ownership of your own work as well as be a team player. You will be based in our office in Stockholm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as first line support for all on-site IT issues at Sinch’s office in Stockholm
  • Answer and resolve IT issues. Escalate issues to second or third line support when needed.
  • Troubleshoot hard- and software, conference room equipment and other office IT
  • Install and repair computers
  • Administration within the Microsoft 365 environment and related support systems
  • Support hardware and software purchases as well as working hands-on with Sinch’s inventory
  • Document solutions and creating guides to improve and simplify work for the IT team

Who are you?

In order to be successful in this role you are willing to learn and develop new skills within IT, you have personal drive and you are a good people's person. You enjoy being part of a team and you have the ability to keep multiple tasks active at once. The role requires you to be fluent in written and spoken English working proficiency in Swedish is a plus.

We see that you have the following in order to be successful in this role:

Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems

Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps

Basic knowledge of troubleshooting hardware issues and changing computer components

Experience in support for Android/iOS devices


Big plus!
  • Experience of working in Azure and Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience or ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with customer support and helpdesk
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
  • Basic knowledge of Jira and Confluence
