Product Manager - Travel Tech

As a strategic leader at TripStack, your primary responsibility will be to support the Director of Product (based in Canada) with Airline API amp; Consolidator Connections. You will oversee every step of the product lifecycle including content acquisition, strategic planning, tactical initiatives, vision, roadmap, development, and distribution/optimization.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and representing client needs
• Keep internal technical teams accountable for quality output and product delivery
• Represent the voice of the end consumer and the business throughout the development process
• Ensure a competitive product offering, continually optimizing based on internal/external needs
• Define the product roadmap for API/NDC
• Align stakeholders around the vision for the product
• Effectively prioritize product features, considering a variety of key factors
• Work with technical teams to ensure operating processes are in place and client SLAs are met

• Closely oversee the technical integration of APIs and understand the architecture behind the scenes
• Monitor profitability with a focus on always working to improve unit economics
• Complete regular market analysis always having an eye on the competitive landscape
• Interview, onboard, and manage direct reports
• Establish strong relationships with Airlines and Consolidators, attending regular check-in meetings with a focus of growing collective partnerships.

• Strategic thinker with critical decision making skills
• Strong experience in data-backed decision making/statistics/market research
• Output and delivery driven; experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with significant context switching
• Highly influential, proactive leader with a strong business acumen
• Strong technical skills and extensive experience with API integrations
• Outstanding multitasking and project management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Passion for research, problem solving and root cause analysis
• Team player demonstrating awesome leadership skills and desire to help develop and inspire employees

Meritorious

Previous experience in sales amp; management is considered an asset as well as well-rounded travel industry experience (with focus on NDC, GDS or Consolidators).
