Job Description

The Tech Talent Partner will work embedded alongside our partners and their internal talent teams to deeply understand hiring challenges, organisational structure and individual team dynamics.

You’ll own and develop hiring strategies that support our partners’ growth plans. Internally at Elements, you will drive the continued success of those around you through collaboration, knowledge sharing and mentoring.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to internal initiatives that further develop our company culture and ways of working.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our partner’s key stakeholders to assess their talent requirements and facilitate a successful hiring process
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with hiring managers and key decision-makers throughout the business
  • Deliver the end to end hiring process for hires at all levels including running effective briefing sessions with managers, applicant screening, compiling of strong long and shortlist for hiring managers, candidate briefings and arranging interviews and feedback sessions to support the successful closing of open positions with high calibre hires
  • Identify and reach out to high calibre, passive candidates, and maintain relevant candidates pools - engaging them on our partner’s behalf through multiple channels, ensuring the partner's brand is conveyed accurately at all times
  • Ensure active candidate management in the form of regular updates on the progress of their applications, interview briefings and providing sensitive and detailed feedback ensuring an excellent service and experience to candidates at all times and candidate relationships are nurtured and developed
  • Proactively taking the lead in weekly delivery syncs ensuring issues on delivery are escalated and dealt with appropriately with suggested solutions to mitigate risk in a timely manner
  • Take responsibility for your own development and proactively seek opportunities to grow
  • Participate in the development of junior resources and/or counterparts through mentoring and knowledge sharing (i.e onboarding or training)
  • Increase your breadth of domain knowledge, develop a deeper understanding of market conditions and latest trends/developments within relevant sectors and functions to continually build expertise
  • Maintain accurate data points and produce a range of relevant reports as requested and needed to support effective client communications and commercial decision making
  • Responsible for presenting and validating your own data reporting to the end partner
  • Ensure full compliance of the hiring process with GDPR guidelines
  • Conduct internal interviews and consult on improvements that could be made on Elements’ process.
  • Any other ad hoc projects as required

Requirements

  • Extensive mix of experience of working in the Talent industry, either solely in-house or as a mixture of in-house and Agency/RPO
  • Extensive knowledge of a variety of technical domains
  • Demonstrable experience of different sourcing methods, including Boolean Searching, X-Ray Searching, Github, Stackoverflow amp; Slack
  • Ability to source for a high volume of roles, from junior to exec level and within different domains and agreed timeframes
  • Previous experience in leading and managing people
  • Ability to think outside the box and provide solutions
  • Ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity
  • Experience in a collaborative environment and getting things done at pace
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate analysis of hiring metrics and help to improve processes where necessary
  • Approachable, adaptable, resilient and have a 'can do' attitude
