Madefrom is a SaaS company building a platform that helps companies select more sustainable materials in their physical products. Just as there has been a huge rise in the tools for developers of software, we believe that digital tools for developers of physical products will be key to developing low carbon businesses at scale.

We're now looking for an ambitious and autonomous full stack developer to join us in the journey of decreasing carbon emission in the production of physical products.

As our third tech-hire you will work across all aspects of the product and you will have a major influence on shaping the code, architecture, and processes for our platform. We strive to create a company with an open and inclusive culture where you're expected to ask questions when you're stuck on a problem.

We are a startup at an early and exciting stage, backed by some of the best venture capital firms in the world.

Requirements

• A team player who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
• A great communicator with the ability to reduce complex problems to simple solutions quickly and consistently.
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
• Has a pragmatic and simplistic mindset when it comes to code and infrastructure. You believe that less dependencies is a good thing that will make the code maintainable over a long period of time.
• Experience in building and shipping B2B and B2C products as well as skilled with the processes of building and testing MVP products.
• Solid skills in:
  • Javascript (both Node.js and in-browser)
  • SQL (preferably PostgreSQL)
  • Build pipelines
  • Deployments
  • Linux
• UX/UI/design understanding (a big plus).

• Develop features in all layers of the stack.
• Participate in the entire product life cycle.

• Move new features into production.
• Ensure quality deployments together with your team.
• Make sure your code is maintainable, testable, and secure.
• Help the team and department ensure platform is stable and bug free.

• The position is full-time, and you will have the flexibility to work remotely but preferably within the Central European Timezone (+-3 hours).
