User Interface (UI) Developer

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a User Interface (UI) Developer fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert. The work will be carried out remotely due to the current extraordinary situation with the COVID-19 pandemic. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the management team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.
Your tasks:
- Design, implementation and maintenance of applications/IT systems;
- Work closely with business analysts, system developers and application testers to translate the defined requirements into source code;
- Work closely with the system administrator to set up and maintain the technical infrastructure;
- Provide third level support and corrective maintenance;
- Participate in performance analysis and optimization;
- Implement code review, installation and configuration of applications;
- Implement migration and updates of applications;
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences;
- Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user testing experiences for digital products;
- Identify User Experience (UX) problems (including conduction of studies), advice and implement solutions;
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
Requirements
- University degree in a related field;
- At least three years of experience in software development and maintenance of existing applications;
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle;
- Experience working with work item management tools (e.g. Team Foundation Server or Jira);
- Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation;
- Experience in unit testing;
- Understanding of Unified Modelling Language (UML);
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP);
- Experience in UX prototyping tools;
- Experience in front end development (web, mobile, HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.);
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Professional experience in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual context is advantageous;
- Excellent command of the English language, oral and written is a must.
