About the role
Trustly is at an early stage of a strategic journey of migrating our services to the cloud. We need a Cloud Architect to guide developers and engineers in lifting and shifting as well as migrating our services onto cloud.
A Cloud architect at Trustly will work together with the other architects to design and build a hybrid cloud service oriented micro services based product stack. The cloud architect helps infrastructure engineers, software developers and data engineers in building and migrating services and pipelines for the cloud. You will have a strong impact on our infrastructure and cloud agenda and guide us on moving into the cloud.Cloud Architect reports to Chief Technology Officer EMEA. What youll do- Have the key role in forming the infrastructure, operational and technical security for Trustly’s public cloud strategy.
- Work together with the teams to deliver on and challenge SLA, RTO, RTP etc. to deliver a strong service to our customers in a single/multi hybrid cloud environment.
- Coach and mentor the infrastructure, data engineer and software engineer teams in cloud thinking and delivering highly available services on cloud infrastructure.
- Keep in touch with the current technology landscape and drive an agenda of continuous improvement and modernization for the infrastructure.
- Take active part in guiding our cloud journey, migrating service onto the cloud and developing our cloud infrastructure tying our platforms together.
- Work hands on building our cloud and infrastructure.
Who you are- Strong cloud architecture skills and hands on experience on AWS/GCP with focus on delivering software to the cloud.
- Strong overall knowledge of software development, and the intersection between software and architecture.
- Strong operational mindset with deep understanding of infrastructure and related security.
- Customer oriented mindset.
