If your background is in software engineering and you want to lean into architecting and working with engineering teams to provide early input and hands-on code development to address the application security aspects when building web services and APIs, this role is for you.What you'll get to do
- Help design hard-to-break applications and services.
- Provide training in secure development practices.
- Take an active role in architectural decisions.
- Deliver Threat Modeling assessments and training.
- Work with engineering teams and enjoy driving security improvements.
- Provide engineering teams the means to identify, quantify and fix potential security flaws.
- Build tooling to support Threat Modeling and other security driven initiatives.
- Have fun, learn and share your knowledge and expertise while doing so.

- Strong relationships building skills.
- Effective communication skills that engage your audience.

- Experience in securing microservice architectures.
- Experience with building custom tools, preferably in Python or NodeJS.
- Experience in reviewing JavaScript (NodeJS, React) or Java projects.
- Experience and understanding of cloud, particularly AWS, and modern tech stacks.
- Great problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Working proficiency in English.
