Key Account Manager

Reporting to; Nordic Business Unit Manager Gatro, Norgine Nordics

Location; Stockholm amp; North Sweden

Tenure; Full-Time; Permanent

MAIN PURPOSE:

  • Overall responsible for the sales activities in North of Sweden, from a practical as well as operational point of view.
  • Covering both Pharmaceutical Products in the Gastro Field
  • Achieve growth and reach sales targets successfully

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Regional support for in-depth understanding of products, value to target customers, competitive assessments and ability to translate value into marketing and sales activities
  • Ability to analyse the market situation, decide how to prioritise the marketing and sales tactics and thereby use resources in the best possible way
  • Responsible for contact and activities with KOL and Stakeholders
  • Cooperate and develop together with cross functional colleagues and execute KAM-plan in Region
  • Execution of the tactical and strategic elements of the KAM plan, monitor achievements of sales objectives
  • Ensure that commercial activities are in line with legislation, regulations and industry code of conduct
  • Support ensuring market access and funding
  • Participate in deviation and complaint handling
  • Involve relevant internal as well as external stakeholder to ensure further business development
  • Investigate new opportunities for increasing sales
  • Monitor and feedback regarding competitive activities in the defined territory
  • Understand the legislation in Sweden and act according to thatensure that all activities are compliant with Applicable Codes, Norgine standards, and internal processes relating to the promotion of medicines and devices; provision of information to patients and the public and relationships with patient groups and health care providers, individually or as institutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from the pharmaceutical industry and preferably the medical device business as well
  • Able to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs
    • Health care professionals, patient organisations, medicine committees, payers and authorities
  • Personality
    • Flexible and able to adopt - keeping many balls in the air at the same time
    • Self-driven and focused; team player as well as being able to be maintain self-motivation and energy for being out in the field with customers daily
    • High engagement and entrepreneurial spirit - wants to make a difference
  • Social skills:
    • Proactive and diplomatic, ‘can do’ attitude’
    • Ability to interact at all levels and build trustworthy relationships within the company, with customers and other stakeholders
    • Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour
  • Acceptable knowledge of code of conduct in marketing amp; sales and market access
  • Fluent in Scandinavian language and English (spoken and written)
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
