A challenging role in ensuring adherence and compliance to accounting policies and tax legislation with reference to the CFO. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of engaged employees divided between an Accounting amp; Tax team in Sweden and an Accounting Shared Service Centre in Spain. The position requires that you can familiarize yourself with complex issues and be ready to challenge and provide sparring on accounting issues to the entire organization.
As Head of Accounting amp; Reporting you will be responsible for all general accounting operations, including financial reporting, tax reporting, compliance, and corporate tax and transfer pricing matters globally in TFS.
Your main tasks will include:
- Management of our Accounting amp; Tax function in Sweden as well as the Accounting Shared Service Center in Spain
- Secure timely and accurate recording of all transactions by reviewing reconciliations
- Ensure correct month-end and year-end reporting, including consolidation according to IFRS principles
- Drive optimization and automation of all internal processes and systems
- Take ownership of the accounting and tax policies and assess any changes in accounting standards and tax regulations to determine impact and ensure compliance
- Taking an active advisory role on reporting, accounting amp; tax matters towards the organisation
- Communicate with auditors and relevant authorities
In addition, you will be involved in ad hoc analyses as well as be responsible for the ongoing development of financial procedures, standards and reporting.
Requirements
- You have an educational background as cand.merc.aud or similar
- More than 5 years of management experience within accounting preferably from a complex international or project-oriented organization.
- Excellent and documented leadership skills and the ability to safeguard internal compliance, while contributing to the solution of specific tasks
- Strong accounting competencies, and a solid understanding of IFRS principles, corporate Tax and indirect tax regulations
- Strong ability to work independently and manage several internal and external stakeholders
- Structured working approach and ability to secure quality in the details while keeping the overview of deliverables
- You must be a good communicator
