Sinch is growing at an impressive pace and so is the need to expand our global Business IT team which is why we are now looking for a lead Business IT Architect to join us in Stockholm.

As lead Business IT Architect, you hold the design authority for Business IT enterprise architecture, will be part of the business IT team and reporting to the Director of Business IT. Your mission will be to ensure that our overall business IT architecture supports our business objectives and strategy. As Sinch continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions, you ensure the business IT architecture allows for scalability through simplification, easy integrations and at the same time allows for functional autonomy. Achieving high alignment along with loose couplings will be the success factor for Sinch to move with speed and quality, and your goal to achieve.

The role involves both strategic and operational aspects, as well as consultative and collaborative, and you are guaranteed to be stimulated and challenged in the best ways.

The responsibilities will include:

Architecture strategy -

• Develop and implement architectural guidelines and standards together with SEAT (Sinch enterprise architecture team)

Architecture implementation amp; compliance -

• Derive a future application landscape and create transparency of current landscape mapping applications, capabilities and data requirements.
• Ensure compliance to defined standards, processes and methods (especially within projects)
• Engage with solution architects amp; infrastructure engineers to provide recommendations on product / platform design and solution architecture, especially within the finance and HR area.

Project support -

• Provide support as needed to ongoing projects, drive application and data workstreams in company integration programs.

• At least 10 years of professional experience in IT, significant time spent in enterprise architecture

• Degree in computer science, engineering or adjacent fields
• Excellent knowledge of current IT architecture principles and trends, technologies and market development
• Experience working in an international fast changing environment
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

To succeed in this role your experience will be essential. But equally important are the soft skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Strong presentation skills, including PowerPoint/Keynotes
• A structured and methodical approach to your work, yet flexible
• Your ability to see both the big and small picture, and asses what is needed both short-term and long-term

• Experience from system integrations in mergers and acquisitions
• Experience from the messaging or telco industry

• Consultancy / project management background
• Experience from international company IT architecture
• Experience from solution architecture for ERP, HRMS
