To help us grow further, we need to strengthen the team with a new Credit Controller.


The essence of the role

As our new Credit Controller, you will play a key part of our global finance team where you will be responsible for Sinch Sweden AB entity covering EMEA and APAC. This Credit Controller role is not like any other, you will cover your own Legal Entity and be involved in everything from a credit control perspective.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Cash collection for outstanding debts
  • Credit risk assessments for existing customers, identifying where the risks are
  • Ensuring company credit policy is adhered to
  • Managing system changes and development
  • Weekly and monthly debtor reporting to Credit Manager and Sales
  • Working closely with Sales and internal departments to resolve issues and disputes
  • Preparing submissions to debt collection agencies and lawyers

This is a 9 months contract role based in Stockholm with start date end of March or earlier.

It reports to the Global Credit Manager who is based in the UK.


Who are you?

In order to be successful in the role you have experience of working as a Credit Controller in a similar commercial environment. You enjoy working in a fast-paced international environment and you have the ability to live and act in a climate of change. You are comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and you communicate effectively to resolve issues in a humble way. The role requires you to have the ability to work independently and take full ownership of your own work as well as be a team player.

  • Around 10 years of relevant experience working as a Credit Controller in commercial environments, preferably one of which must be international credit, dealing with overseas clients
  • Track record of managing process improvement and system changes
  • Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing

Due to the pandemic we are currently only considering candidates who already live in this location.
