The essence of the role
As our IT Purchaser you will be part of Sinch global purchasing organization, a newly established function. This is a unique possibility to be part of building a procurement function from scratch in a fast-growing global company. You will have freedom to form the role to your own standards. You will gain insights into current contracts and vendors, drive and send out RFQ, evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts. You will drive a behavioral change to improve how Sinch works with procurement. To achieve that change you need stamina and a firm yet flexible stand. You’ll be the first dedicated resource for IT purchasing and as such you will develop our way of working, support, plan and strategize, adding your perspectives to our mutual build of the purchasing function. You’ll be working directly with our stakeholders in the business as well as collaborate with legal, finance and business control. A business in fast growth adds further complexity and an ever changing agenda.

You are commercially minded procurement professional who is structured, detail oriented with the ability to prioritize. Communication comes naturally to you - both in negotiations but also with internal stakeholders. You’re good at making structure but you certainly don’t need it to be in place already. You’re flexible in terms of handling highs and lows and mixing operative work with strategic.
