We are now looking to expand our Global Support Functions FPamp;A team which supports Global Function heads based in Europe: CEO, CFO, CHRO, CMO, CSO, CIO.

The essence of the role

As Business Controller you will work as a Business Partner and support C-level Managers and their organizations with OPEX Control (personnel and non-personnel costs), Business plan review, crafting Budget/forecasts, analysis, KPI reporting, offer insights, cost optimization support through proactive cost follow-up, contract negotiation, tracking of investment/transformation projects driven by group functions.

This is a business-oriented role, working both hands-on and strategic, with budget owners within the organization, where you will be the bridge between finance and management. This is a great opportunity for you to influence, develop and grow both your own role as well as within Sinch.

As our new Business Controller Global Support Functions FPamp;A, you will:

  • Partner with leadership to one or several of the global support functions, IT, HR, Legal, Finance, Strategy, to drive achievement of financial and operational targets
  • Support, analyze, consolidate, discuss, and challenge financial budget/forecasts with responsible managers including but not limited to profitability/ROI analysis, business plan review, cost optimization
  • Actively work in the monthly closing and drive the forecast/budget process for your areas, ensuring control, accuracy, measure, report, present and timely delivery of figures, KPI’s and analysis
  • Continuously work on improving our processes and daily tasks together with the FPamp;A team
  • Support through in-depth analysis and sharing of financial knowledge with the aim of reaching financial targets

In order to be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • Education: MSc, BSc. Academic degree in either Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or similar
  • Technical skills: You have financial and analytical skills, with a data driven approach. Ability to simplify complex data. Excellent with Excel (As example Power query, Power pivots, VBA), PowerPoint.
  • Experience: Business Controller/Finance Business Partner amp; or Accounting background.
  • Personality Skills: You enjoy working in a fast-paced international environment and have the ability to live and act in a climate of change.
