Procurement Lead

In this role, the job holder will be responsible for leading the procurement activities in Manta Systems AB. As a Procurement Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability and cost-effective sourcing of components for the Company’s technology development and manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the procurement activities for Manta Systems AB.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for the Company’s technology development and manufacturing.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements.
• Prepare and place purchase orders with suppliers on the APL (Approve Vendor List).
• Analyzing scope of supply and contract agreements, carrying out supplier risk analysis, introducing and applying negotiation recommendations (where required).
• Supplier selection based on quote negotiation (commercial, payment terms, price reduction, delivery time decrease)
• Track and maintain control of inventory.
• Lead the implementation of a Procurement and Inventory management System.
• Systematically file all documentation related to purchase orders (physical / electronic files).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• Proven experience in procurement roles, preferably in related industry
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Result-oriented with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness
