We are now looking to expand the team with a VP, EMEA FPamp;A based in Stockholm to chase the dream with us.

The essence of the role

As our new VP for EMEA FPamp;A, you will lead a team of trusted Finance Business Partners to support one of three newly formed Sales regions. Together, we will work towards achieving financial goals, providing strategic insights, and managing the reporting and financial planning processes for the EMEA region.

As a leader of EMEA FPamp;A, you will play a pivotal role in establishing best in class processes for driving revenue growth, optimizing costs through proactive business follow-up, managing sales commissions, and driving transformation projects.

Your role will be based in Stockholm, but we offer hybrid working. You will report to the CFO EMEA based in Stockholm.

As our new VP, EMEA FPamp;A, you will:

  • Partner with Regional senior leadership to drive achievement of financial and operational targets
  • Build and lead a team of Finance Business Partners
  • Provide insight and recommendations to strategic decision making; including but not limited to profitability/ROI analysis, business plan review, pricing strategy and cost optimization
  • Setup frameworks from a finance perspective to enable commercial success; including but not limited to Sales KPI steering, commercial deal desk support, and cost allocation models
  • Build and manage Regional Business reporting packages, including but not limited to Pamp;L, BS and CF-reporting. Measure, report and challenge business performance.
  • In accordance with process guidance from Corporate Control lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
  • In accordance with process guidance from Corporate Sales Enablement team, lead target setting and commission process for the sales teams
  • Interface with central Financial Operations to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Support Sinch-wide transformation/integration projects such as implementation of one common ERP, one group wide CRM, and suitable BI-solutions.

As an exceptional communicator, you shine in both Excel and PowerPoint. Your communication style is clear, concise, engaging, and persuasive. You adapt content and language to the relevant audience.

In order to be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • MSc, BSc or equivalent
  • Experience of Head of FPamp;A, Head of Business Finance or equivalent in a large and international company
  • Proven experience from driving financial process transformation and process excellence
  • Experience in setting up frameworks for commercial enablement (customer pricing, product costing, market research, etc) and supporting contract negotiations etc.
  • Broad financial understanding with domain competence and understanding of financial challenges in global operations
  • Keen interest in business partnering, FPamp;A, strategic finance, sales steering work comfortable with building scorecards and creation of investment plans as well as evaluating them
  • Successful experience from leading teams, preferably internationally
  • Experience from listed company is highly beneficial
  • Mamp;A experience and integration work is beneficial
