Role and Responsibilities
Build and manage a team that develops a core part of Sinchs offering in Conversational Messaging. Be part of a multi-functional team that sets its own objectives and goals with responsibility for every stage of product development life cycle from planning and design to implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
Your work will be focused around building a team that delivers critical frontend and backend systems that make up the core of the product line; The code you write will be consumed by many different teams and customers and is a key enabler in the product line. As a Manager\Tech Lead, you will lead a team that writes code that has a high impact throughout the organization, and it is paramount that it meets our level of excellence!
Tech stack: Typescript, Node JS, Kafka, Postgres, Kubernetes, React. Other teams also use GO and Java.

Requirements
In order to contribute to this role, you have:
- Lead a team as either accountable for result or manager for the team.
- Experience building services, or tooling, that other developers used to build or run their workload.
- Experience building, launching and running mission-critical, high-performance, distributed, fault tolerant systems.
- Experience in High-Level languages like Java, GO or Typescript.
- Experience working across multiple technology stacks using different programming paradigms.
- Experience working in a customer focused environment, ideally within a SaaS or subscription business.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years as Tech lead / senior engineer role.
- Excellent communication and ability to influence both technical individual contributors and business stakeholders.
- Familiar with trunk based development, IaC / GitOps and related CI/CD toolset.
- Comfortable supporting other engineers in the organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and networking.
- Fluency in English.
