The role
You will be part of our Finance IT team, focusing on the group ERP Dynamics 365 Finance amp; Operations and surrounding systems to secure a design that will support business over time. This includes working closely with different business teams, as well as external partners, to maintain the solution and ensure pragmatic use of ‘best practice’. It also includes coordination of Backlog/Support tickets to optimize the value based on group priorities, and planning of the release process that follows. The areas you will be responsible for and represent are mainly within Accounting, Tax and Treasury.
As an Application Specialist in Dynamics 365 you will:
- Engage in collaboration with cross-functional teams internally, and facilitate external business stakeholder forums
- Analyze and make solution design translating from the business requirements
- Implement new functionalities in D365 Famp;O and provide proper training for business end-users, supporting the teams in creating their business processes and routines
- Create and maintain Backlog items for development
- Review Functional Design Documents
- Perform system configuration and customizing
- Prepare, coordinate and perform testing, such as integration tests, user acceptance test and regression tests
- Provide support to business users, and/or act as the link to external partner until the issue is solved or the feature is fully implemented
- Create and maintain documentation for configuration customizations, for future reference and to enable knowledge sharing
- Stay updated on new features, releases, and enhancements within D365 Famp;O
Requirements
- A relevant education from University, for example economics, system science or engineering
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Famp;O (or older versions of Dynamics AX)
- Solid proficiency in configuring and adapting ERP solutions using out-of-the-box features and tools
- General experience and understanding of Accounting is an advantage
- Knowledge of data analytics using tools such as PowerBI
- Previous exposure to global delivery teams and/or consultancy environments would be considered a plus
- Written and verbal English language skills at business level
- Self-motivated and used to working independently
