The team
The Reconciliation team in ETG are working with accounting reconciliations on order level - ensuring we are receiving the correct amount from customers and paying the right amounts to vendors in all our orders. The Analytics and Reporting team are acting as a support function to the teams working in the ERP by analysing unreconciled transactions.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Reconciliation Analytics and Reporting team in Uppsala. The ideal candidate will use their passion for data and analytics to provide insights to the business. This role is part of a global organisation working with key stakeholders in various time zones. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
The role
- Work with large data sets to identify issues, risks and provide key functions within Finance with insights and risks related to larger data sets.
- Present data and findings using visualisations to broader audiences
- Close cooperation with our BI team to create new features in Business intelligence tools, such as Qlikview, Qlik Sense and Looker to continuously improve reporting and analytics capabilities
- Analyse the quality of data and discover trends to identify metrics to support decisions and business opportunities
- Work with diverse teams across the organisation to build and monitor new and existing KPIs.
- Collaborate with global teams to provide a data driven approach
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Finance or related technical field experience
- Experience in analysing data and producing reports
- Experience of programming in Python
- Extended knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience in a Data Analyst role or similar
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Ability to work independently with high sense of accountability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience building in Looker, Qlik Sense or other BI tools would be a strong asset
- Experience in Microsoft D365 or Microsoft Dynamics AX would be a strong asset
