Security Engineer

• Actively participate in the management of security operations, deploying effective strategies to maintain a robust defense against cyber threats.
• Respond to and resolve security tickets swiftly and professionally, mitigating the impact of security incidents.
• Assist in the completion of security questionnaires, adhering to high standards of compliance and data transparency.
• Conduct penetration testing activities to identify potential weaknesses and recommend preventative solutions.
• Participate in the design and deployment of Azure and AWS security configurations, ensuring they align with current best practices.
• Contribute to risk assessments, compliance audits, and the remediation of identified issues.
• Provide technical insights to various teams, contributing to the overall knowledge base and awareness of security matter

Requirements

• You have bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• You have at least 3 years of specialized experience in IT security, with particular emphasis on Azure and AWS platforms.
• You have possession of relevant security certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate would be beneficial.
• You have experience in conducting penetration testing and managing vulnerability assessments.
• You have profound understanding of risk management methodologies, security protocols, and industry standards.
• You have exceptional problem-solving skills, resilience, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• You have experience from working and collaborating in a global and complex work environment
• You have solid written and verbal communication skills, with a capacity to effectively communicate complex security issues to non-technical team members.
